William H. "Bill" Williams, Jr., LFD

President/CEO, transitioning to consulting role, effective January 2025

After more than 20 years as President and CEO of FSI, Mr. Williams will retire, effective January 2025. At that time, Mr. Williams will transition into a consulting role with FSI.

Under Mr. Williams' leadership, FSI grew its reach from one state to 34, increased trusts administered from just six to more than 300 and grew its client roster from 150 to more than 1,300. Mr. Williams also led efforts to build an IT Department that developed user and staff friendly technology which allowed the company to become the nationwide leader in deathcare trust administration and expended the company nationwide. He also wrote and lobbied for the passage of Florida’s first Unitrust laws for cemetery endowment care trusts.

Upon his transition to a consulting role with FSI, Mr. Williams will assist leadership and will represent the company at industry events.

Jack Hirsch

Incoming President, effective January 2025

Mr. Hirsch, currently the Senior Vice President of the Funeral & Cemetery Trust Division at Argent Trust, will become FSI’s new President in January 2025, upon Bill Williams’ retirement.

Mr. Hirsch brings more than 20 years of financial experience, including regulatory reporting, trust services, asset management and specialized solutions for endowments and foundations.

Following Mr. Hirsch's transition to president of FSI, he plans to focus on continuous improvement and a commitment to helping operators reach families in meaningful, convenient means. By leveraging the strengths of both FSI and Argent Trust, Mr. Hirsch plans to introduce opportunities to streamline services, benefiting current and new clients.

Debbie Wagner

Office Administrator

Ms. Wagner joined FSI in 2014 and brings over 20 years of experience in the administrative field.  Debbie is also a valued member of FSI's Client Services Department and assists on various systems development and testing projects to keep FSI services and computer programs technologically up-to-date and in compliance with changing state laws.

Jane Bachtler

Chief Financial Officer

Mrs. Bachtler has been with FSI since May 2008 as FSI's Corporate Accountant.  Jane graduated Cum Laude from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and holds a CPA certificate.

Jane has worked as a senior auditor for one of the world's largest public accounting firms and also in the private sector in international corporate accounting and financial accounting and reporting with such companies as Fisher-Price Toys/Quaker Oats, Crowley Maritime and TYA Pharmaceuticals.

Client Relations

Michael Faherty

Executive Vice President, Client Relations

Mr. Faherty has been serving clients in the deathcare industry for more than seven years. He has more than 20 years in financial and investment experience.

Michael holds a blended role with both FSI and Argent Financial Group’s Funeral and Cemetery Trust division, where he applies the benefits of both firms to existing and future clients, offering a seamless experience for clients of both companies. Michael works with FSI and Argent clients to share options in investments and recordkeeping for preneed contracts for funeral homes and cemeteries, as well as cemetery endowment care needs.

Paul White, LFD

Business Development Consultant

Mr. White has been a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer since 1976 and has spent his entire career in funeral home At-need and PreNeed operations.

Paul joined the Company in March 2005 after serving many years as an Officer, Director and Partner in one the country's leading PreNeed sales and marketing organizations.  With an extensive background in funeral home client development and PreNeed marketing services, his primary focus is introducing the company's wide array of products and services to prospective funeral home clients and maintaining the standards of excellence that current clients have come to enjoy from FSI.

Tommy Settles, LFD

Client Services Manager

Mr. Settles has been a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer since 1987 with experience in funeral homes, direct disposal operations, managing At-Need and PreNeed personnel.

Tommy joined the Company in June 2005 as our Client Services Manager.  He will be focusing primarily on client relations.  He will be assisting clients with current and upcoming products and services that are being offer by FSI.  Tommy's primary focus will be to keep FSI clients up to date with the new laws and the newest state of the art technology known to the industry for PreNeed.  This information will enable our clients to reward their families with quality pre-arrangement knowledge, as well as keeping the FSI Trust as superior as ever and the technology for the client user friendly.

Client Services

Meiko Whitfield

Vice-President of Client Services

Ms. Whitfield has been with FSI since October of 1989, starting out as a Fiscal Assistant in the Client Services Department.  In addition to managing the PreNeed Services Department, Meiko also assists clients with PreNeed training as well as conversions of existing trusts.

Meiko also works with management and systems development to keep FSI services and computer programs technologically up-to-date and in compliance with changing state laws.

Wendy Bruner

Assistant Vice-President of Client Services

Ms. Bruner is an important member of FSI's Client Services team and has been with FSI since March of 1997.  She is responsible for assisting new clients through the PreNeed License application and annual renewal process, as well as training for new clients and refresher training for existing clients.

Wendy also works with management and systems development to keep FSI services and computer programs technologically up-to-date and in compliance with changing state laws.

Kerrie Brandon

Client Service Specialist

Ms. Brandon is another member of the Client Services team and has been employed with FSI since November, 1999.  Kerrie is involved in various aspects of the daily processing of paperwork and makes her #1 priority to assist each individual client to their satisfaction.

Kerrie also assists systems development with testing to keep FSI services and computer programs technologically up-to-date and in compliance with changing state laws.

Judi Moore

Client Service Specialist

Mrs. Moore joined FSI in August, 2001 as a Client Specialist.  Judi's priority is customer satisfaction on a daily basis.  She also is involved in various aspects of the daily processing of paperwork as well as assists systems development with testing to keep FSI services and computer programs technologically up-to-date and in compliance with changing state laws.

Judi is also our "go-to" person for training and installation of FSI's eContract.

Jessica Johns

Data Entry Specialist

Ms. Jessica Johns joined the FSI team in October of 2015.  She takes her work very seriously and finds great satisfaction in providing data input that is fast and extremely accurate.

Information Technology

Prakash Mohan

Chief Technology Officer / Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Mohan has been employed at FSI since January 2009.  He holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science from The Florida State University. Mr.Mohan has been promoted to FSI's Chief Technology Officer as of October, 2018. He is involved in designing the core architecture of the system and guiding team development efforts towards successful project delivery.

Prakash's role is to assure the successful execution of the company's business mission through development and deployment of technology based trust administration services.

Mudassir Mohammed

Lead Software Developer

Mr. Mohammed has been employed at FSI since October 2007.  He graduated from JNTU Hyderabad, India with a Bachelor degree in Computers and Information Sciences in 2004 and graduated from the University of South Alabama, Mobile, Alabama with a Master's degree in Information Systems in 2007.

As a Senior Software Developer, Mudassir is focused on developing new .NET applications as well as maintaining existing applications.

Suresh Venkatesan

Lead Software Developer

Mr. Venkatesan has been employed at FSI since July 2009.  He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK.

As a Senior Software Developer, his role is to design, develop, test and maintain .NET windows, web applications to serve FSI business needs. He is also responsible for establishing and managing all testing standards for new applications and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development lifecycle.

Polina Volkova

Lead Software Developer

Mrs. Volkova holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Florida State University.  She earned multiple Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Database Administrator 2008 and Microsoft Certified Professional Developer: ASP.NET 3.5.  Polina has been employeed since May 2008 as a Senior Software Developer and database administrator.  She ensures the reliability of software and the integrity of data for FSI clients.

Matthew Brossette

Network Administrator / Clerical Assistant

Mr. Brossette joined FSI in May 2021 as a Clerical Assistant in the Client Services Department. Matt organizes all payments and contracts that come in by mail. He is also responsible for initial entry for receipts and transmittals, scanning and depositing payments.
